Core Principles
1. Intent Supremacy

Definition: An action is morally defined by the actor’s stated intention.
If harm occurs but harm was not intended, the action remains ethically neutral. If you didn't mean it, no one can be angry about it!
Best Practice:
When confronted with adverse outcomes, clarify your original motivation promptly and publicly. Insist on your perspective has primacy and efforts to make you feel bad are malign.
Example:
“I never meant for anyone to lose housing. I intended to maximize profit.”
2. Jurisdictional Responsibility

Definition: You are morally accountable only for effects within your direct control.
Structural harm, secondary impacts, and distributed consequences fall outside individual jurisdiction. if it extends beyond your physical and emotional presence, it's not your problem.
Guiding Question:
Did I personally cause this?
If no, the matter is systemic and therefore abstract. Systems are so inscrutable but I'm a real person. Why can't you think of how this effects me?
3. Emotional Safety as Primary Good

Definition: Moral behavior must not compromise the psychological safety of the actor.
If accountability, critique, or exposure induces discomfort, pause the moral process. Inquiry is where discomfort lives so if you remain distant, your remain safe.
Note:
Discomfort may indicate boundary violation rather than wrongdoing.
4. Non-Interference as Compassion

Definition: Choosing not to intervene in suffering preserves autonomy.
Withholding assistance respects the dignity of self-determination. Bootstraps are there for pulling.
Reframe:
“I’m not ignoring you. I’m honoring your independence.”
5. Preference Integrity

Definition: All preferences are morally equivalent unless they violate explicit law.
Discomfort with others’ existence may be reframed as value alignment. it's no illegal so it's fine for me to do.
Template Language:
“This is about fit, not rejection.”
6. Outcome Neutrality

Definition: Unintended consequences do not retroactively alter the moral quality of an action.
If the process was compliant, the result is ethically processed. You were just doing what you were told. The manual was right there and you just did what you had to do.
